Mengubah bentuk toraks namun tidak mengurangi kapasitas paru. Frekuensi respirasi meningkat untuk dapat lebih banyak oksigen yang diperlukan, keadaan ini menimbulkan sedikit hiperventilasi (Farrer,2001).

Adaptasi ventilasi dan structural selama masa hamil bertujuan untuk menyediakan kebutuhan ibu dan janin. Kebutuhan oksigen ibu meningkat sebagai respons terhadap percepatan laju metabolic dan peningkatan kebutuhan oksigen jaringan uterus dan payudara. Janin membutuhkan oksigen dan satu cara untuk membuang karbon dioksida.

Kondom

Kondom  

  Menurut riwayatnya, kondom sudah di gunakan di mesir sejak tahun 1350 SM. Baru abad ke 18, sarung ini mendapat nama “kondom” yang pada waktu itu di pakai dengan tujuan mencegah penularan penyakit kelamin.⁽¹⁾

1. Mekanisme kerja.

Menghalangi masuknya sperma, sehingga pembuahan dapat di cegah.

2. Jenis kondom.

Pada dasarnya ada 2 jenis kondom, yaitu kondom kulit dan kondom karet. Kondom kulit dibuat dari usus domba. Kondom karet lebih elastis dan murah sehingga lebih banyak di gunakan.

Biology

Subdisciplines of biology are recognized on the basis of the scale at which organisms are studied and the methods used to study them: biochemistry examines the rudimentary chemistry of life; molecular biology studies the complex interactions of systems of biological molecules; cellular biology examines the basic building block of all life, the cell; physiology examines the physical and chemical functions of the tissues, organs, and organ systems of an organism; and ecology examines how various organisms interact and associate with their environment.^[3]
